Hi there! My name is Amanda Decker and an Ocala soap artist. I've been hand making soap here in town for over 4 years and strive to include native Florida botanicals to my bars. Florida has such an abundance of amazing herbs, flowers and trees that provide natural benefits to our bodies and skin. My soap company, Wild Pear Soaps, wild harvests a sustainable selection of plants in hopes of using them in soap to increase the longevity of their healing potential. I use the old fashioned cold process lye style and hand churn many of our batches. My home is blessed with two children, 2 and 4, that help make fragrance and color selections, as well as helps gather botanicals, making us family operated! Over the years we have gained multiple Central Florida locations including Island Grove Winery and Crones Cradle Conserve. Our family truly sees our soaps as art for the everyday person, no matter where they are. We hope MCA does too! Thank you for your time.
