About Linda Reitz

Linda’s art is a combination of fine art, abstract and impressionism. She lives and works passionately in a rural area of Ocala. Her art has always been inspired by her love of nature as well as her passion for horses that they raised, trained and showed for many years. Other influences were the wildlife and mountains she was exposed to growing up.

From painting and drawing as a child to woodworking and exhibiting wooden horses at the Metropolitan, her art has now evolved from her diverse creative past.

She hopes her observers will connect emotionally with the organic feel created by different mediums flowing over and under one another. They sometimes merge and other times repel each other. This is sometimes controlled but other times she lets the painting take control as she may sand, add inks or gold leafing to create a backdrop for her realistic twist. Resin finishes and full resin art pieces have also become a passion.

Her ultimate mission is to bring you to a place that stimulates your senses and calms your soul.
